What these files count
- Off-airport Part 77 notices (filings) in the FAA's public archive, by the date
  the FAA entered them. A notice is a proposal, not a structure that was built.
- "So far" is January 1, 2026 to September 11, 2026, the last full day in
  this archive, compared with January 1, 2025 to September 11, 2025.
- Notices reach the public archive weeks after they are entered, so the latest
  weeks of 2026 are incomplete and will rise. The January–June columns
  compare months the archive has had time to fill in.
- The only names in these files are organisations (sponsor groups) and airports.
  Sponsor groups are matched on the sponsor name in the record, so they are
  approximate, and the FAA withholds a sponsor's name while a case is under review.
- FAA records do not say why a case is still open.
