What this outcome means

The FAA sent the case back to the filer rather than issuing a determination. This is the most common non-clean outcome and usually means something has to change or be supplied before the study can finish — not that the project was refused.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"Phase 1A construction limits. This phase only applies if the Bid Alternate is awarded. Separate studies have been submitted for the project if the Bid Alternate is NOT awarded. During Phase 1A the pavement edges on Taxiway B will be widened at its intersection with Runway 17R/35L. During Phase 1A the portion of Taxiway B between Taxiway A and Taxiway B3 will be closed. Phase 1A will occur concurrently with Phase 1 so Runway 17R/35L will already be closed during this time."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
