COUNTY ROAD 32 PUMP STATION
Fairhope, AL · near H L Sonny Callahan (0.9 mi)
What this outcome means
The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.
The proposal, in the filer's words
"The proposed project consists of the construction of a new sanitary sewer lift station designed to collect and convey wastewater from the surrounding service area to the downstream wastewater collection system. The lift station will have an ultimate pumping capacity of approximately 2 100 gallons per minute (GPM) and will utilize a triplex pump configuration to provide reliable wastewater service for existing and future development within the service area. The facility will include a 12-foot-diameter reinforced concrete wet well associated site infrastructure utility connections security fencing and site lighting necessary for operation and maintenance. All permanent improvements including the lift station structures appurtenances and lighting will extend no more than 10 feet above existing ground elevation. Temporary construction activities may require the use of cranes excavators concrete pump trucks and other construction equipment that exceed the height of the completed facility. These temporary structures and equipment will only be present during construction and will be removed upon completion of the project. No permanent features associated with the project are anticipated to exceed the maximum height described above."

Screening a structure of your own?
Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file
LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
