Determination of no hazardDetermined - No Hazard100 ft AGL

What this outcome means

The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"This notice is for the installation and operation of a temporary tower crane required for construction of the Inwood Senior Living project in Dallas Texas.\n\nPT1 – Center of Tower (Tower Peak Location):\n32.831730° N -96.824481° W\nGround Elevation: 496 ft AMSL\nMaximum Crane Height: 614 ft AMSL\n\nThe crane will remain fixed at this location and operate with a rotating horizontal jib used to lift construction materials for the multi-story senior living facility. The crane may rotate up to 225 degrees during normal operations.\n\nThe furthest horizontal extents of crane operation are defined by the following jib endpoints:\n\nPT2 – North Jib Extent:\n32.832422° N -96.824789° W\n\nPT3 – Southwest Jib Extent:\n32.831365° N -96.825241° W\n\nPT4 – Southeast Jib Extent:\n32.831205° N -96.823865° W\n\nThese three coordinates (PT2 PT3 and PT4) define the maximum horizontal operational sweep of the crane.\n\nThe crane will be used to support vertical building erection and placement of materials. It will remain on site only for the duration of the structural construction phase and will be dismantled and removed once that work is complete. All other construction activities occur at ground level and do not exceed FAA height notification thresholds."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
