"The project scope of work includes rubber removal pavement preservation and pavement marking application. During nightly runway closures the removal of rubber deposits will occur from two sections located at opposite ends of runway where accumulations were identified during inspection. During a full airport closure over a 7-day period marking removal of runway centerlines and taxiway lead-in lines and application of rapid cure seal coat material will be applied to the entire runway including the shoulders and blast pads. All existing markings not to be removed will be covered using the rapid cure seal coat. Application of all runway pavement markings including taxiway lead-in lines extending from the taxiway connectors hold bars will receive a second coat of paint approximately 30 days after the initial coat during nightly runway closures."
