What this outcome means

"Formerly used tug road will be removed from in front of FAA BSC LOC. This will be completed during the Taxiway Z West Extension project. Existing tug road will be removed and area will be regraded to be evenly graded away from runway safety area for 7R. See attached profile and grading sheets. Work is being supported with design Reimbursable Agreement AJW FN WSA 23 AL 005851. Construction Reimbursable Agreement is being planned with FAA Planning and Requirements. This will include funding for FAA flight check which is expected to be needed post construction due to grading changes within the Localizer Critical Area. FAA will be notified of work within Localizer Critical area a minimum of 45 days in advance to coordinate BSC ILS outage for the duration of the work within the LCA. Grading work is anticipated to take approximately 10 days. Schedule will be coordinated with FAA ahead of 2027 construction season"
