Is this a substitute for professional engineering review?
No. LOS Analyzer is a screening aid: it tells you whether a structure is likely to need FAA notice and why, and pre-fills Form 7460-1 to help you prepare your own filing. You are responsible for verifying the values and filing, only the FAA issues a determination, and a CLEAR result does not mean filing is unnecessary under 14 CFR 77.9. Engage a licensed engineer or surveyor where your project requires one. See the Disclaimer.
How do I enter my building?
Click the building corners on the satellite map or type their coordinates, then set the height. Plan upload is not currently available.
How accurate is the analysis?
The engine is terrain-aware (public USGS elevation data, typically ±5–15 ft) and corrects for earth curvature and atmospheric refraction (k = 7/6); Part 77 surfaces come from FAA runway data. Pre-filled tower eye heights are derived estimates you should verify. It is a screening model: vegetation and existing structures are not modelled, and real determinations also depend on FAA specialist judgment. Every assumption is published in the methodology.
Do credits expire?
5-Pack credits never expire. The Annual Seat runs for 12 months from purchase and renews automatically each year until you cancel.
Can I get a refund?
Unused report credits can be refunded within 60 days of purchase. Once a report has been generated, the credit or payment used for it is non-refundable. The Annual Seat renews automatically each year until cancelled; you can cancel any time in Manage billing, and access continues to the end of the paid year with no refund for the current term.
