What this outcome means

The FAA sent the case back to the filer rather than issuing a determination. This is the most common non-clean outcome and usually means something has to change or be supplied before the study can finish — not that the project was refused.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"Pour concrete slab as foundation 86ftx50ft for 2 20ft conex containers and a 2200 square feet aluminum steel building made by Steel Masters Building which is a kit that will need to be put together. Loader and excavator will be used for transporting items to property and excavator will be used for scraping the ground to make it level (no dirt will be removed and no digging is necessary). Once the building is erect the highest point will be 19ft. One conex container will be used to store passenger baggage and the second conex container will be used as waiting area for passengers. The aluminum steel building will be used as aircraft parking."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
