What this outcome means
The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.
The proposal, in the filer's words
"1. Job Number J9S3726 for the crossing Route 114 over Dexter Creek. The proposed project replaces the Route 114 structure (K0031 Existing; A9224 Proposed). The project limits extend through the length of the guardrail replacement required. The design calls for the existing horizontal alignment to remain in place. The proposed profile will decrease 0.15 feet from the current elevation of the existing structure. The proposed structure will also have bridge barrier railing that will extend 3 feet above the proposed bridge deck surface. It is anticipated that cranes will be used during construction to remove existing beams and place new beams.\r\n\r\n2. Screening a structure of your own?
Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file
LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
