Emirates Lounge Expansion T4 Project 2/2
Jamaica, NY · near John F Kennedy Intl (0.2 mi)
What this outcome means
The FAA sent the case back to the filer rather than issuing a determination. This is the most common non-clean outcome and usually means something has to change or be supplied before the study can finish — not that the project was refused.
The proposal, in the filer's words
"The project comprises a 3 500 sf expansion of airline club lease space on Level 4 of JFK T4 Concourse A and a 4 500 sf fixed bridge ramping from Level 4 to Level 3 connecting to Gate A7. The bridge connection will be include a new egress stair. The lounge expands southwards into the adjacent roof filling an existing gap in level 4. The new Bridge addition is located on the East of Concourse A and adjacent to the exiting Gate A7 bridge (south of the bridge). The exterior materials used are Metal panel Glazed Curtain wall and concrete blocks. The structure consists on metal frames."

Screening a structure of your own?
Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file
LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
