Lift Equipment Testing

Akron, OH · near Akron Fulton Intl (0.9 mi)

Preliminary findingsPending185 ft AGL

What this outcome means

An interim result issued while the aeronautical study continues. It is not the final determination.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"Boom lift equipment testing in a specified location on the premises for a duration of 10 minutes once a month. We have chosen the most suitable location on site based on flight path and height restriction information available. For testing the lifts must be fully extended most of lifts extend to 80'-135' but occasionally we have lifts that extend to 185'. While stored onsite the lifts will not be an issue as they are less that 30' high when stored."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
