We determined that the original coordinates on file were based on a land survey that predates NAD 83 standards.\n\nWhen converted to the current NAD 83 standard the precise physical location of the tower is:\n\nNorth: 37° 02' 32.9\ (Decimal: 37.042472)\nWest: 89° 11' 07.0\" (Decimal: -89.185528)\n\nPlease note that the tower (constructed in 1941/42) has not been modified moved or altered in any way; it remains in its original physical location. \n\nThe FAA conducted an Aeronautical Study in 1991 and determined that this structure poses no hazard to air navigation meaning no painting or lighting requirements are mandated. Because the structure is unchanged we are requesting that is determination remain unchanged.""
