What this outcome means

The FAA sent the case back to the filer rather than issuing a determination. This is the most common non-clean outcome and usually means something has to change or be supplied before the study can finish — not that the project was refused.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"To enhance community engagement and further strengthen public awareness of the airport the airport will host an event that includes a firework show for aviation enthusiasts and supporters at the airport. The airfield will be closed for the event between 2000-2330 hours (8:00pm – 11:30pm EST) on Saturday June 27 2026 and will reopen after the fireworks are complete and all attendees have departed. It is estimated that 2G2 averages less than 6 operations between the proposed closure window of 2000-2330 hours. In addition to the attached exhibit last year’s submission (2025‑AGL‑737‑NRA) and its associated determination are included for reference. Due to the new OEAAA system format (as of May 2025) the OEAAA Help Desk has recommended selecting “new construction” rather than “alteration” for this submission."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
