Determination of no hazardDetermined - No Hazard100 ft AGL

What this outcome means

The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"Project site is multilane interstate and highway reconstruction project. The project is to reconstruct I-494 from exit 2B to the west. The ramps at I-494 and MN-77 interchange will be reconstructed to accommodate a 3' increase in the bridge elevation on MN-77. MN-77 will be reconstructed to the north and south to adjust the roadway tie in to the new bridge. Mobile equipment will be used for placement of signs and removal of pavement and soil and construction of the new pavement. Cranes will be used to place the new bridge structural elements."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
