What this outcome means

The FAA sent the case back to the filer rather than issuing a determination. This is the most common non-clean outcome and usually means something has to change or be supplied before the study can finish — not that the project was refused.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"Survey Accuracy 1A. The 5K on the Runway is a non-aeronautical \fun run\" event slated to occur on the RWY 8/26 complex on September 12 2026. The event setup is expected to begin at 05:30L and the runway is expected to be returned to aeronautical use at 8:30L. The NAER is attached to this submission and was also sent in a shared link to Joseph Vierra Rebecca Wersal and Andrew Edstrom. The POI is assumed to be an ADA lift extended to its maximum height (30'). If for some reason the lift is not used due to winds or other issues on that day the start/finish truss is at a lower height (15') and would be immediately adjacent to this POI.""

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
