What this outcome means

The outcome turns on marking and lighting conditions — typically obstruction lighting or paint required as a condition of the determination.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"Marking and lighting study only all other data remains the same. This tower is not permitted to be lit or painted per county approvals. More importantly it is in the trees back from the ridge and not in the flight path of aircraft. The adjacent building is taller in height than this tower. Additionally even if all the trees were removed which the forest service would not allow it would not be in a place that aircraft would conflict with its location. Additionally there are lift towers for the ski lift that at taller than this located in the area."

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file
