Determination of no hazardDetermined - No Hazard172 ft AGL

What this outcome means

The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"The project will add more cooling towers to the roof on the side away from the existing helipad (that is to the southeast side of the roof). The new cooling towers will be approximately 5 feet lower in elevation than the existing cooling towers so no increase in overall height is proposed in the project. No existing ASN could be located for this heliport so we are filing this as a \Notice of Existing\" along with the proposal for new cooling towers. We have NOT included any additional marking or lighting of the new cooling towers since they are shorter than the existing cooling towers. A drawing showing the proposed cooling tower locations is provided in attachments. An expedited review is requested because equipment installation must begin by end of July to meet hospital's cooling demand.""

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
