"Existing building is a pro football stadium of 70 000 capacity located near downtown Jacksonville. The primary modification to the stadium is the addition of a new canopy fully covering the existing stadium - which will increase the height from 196' to 255'. Additional interior and exterior modifications and updates to the pedestrian plaza concourses and interiors are also planned in this renovation but are not of relevance to this FAA submission. Proposed canopy structure is a suspended cable grid (similar to SoFi Stadium in LA) with a semi-transparent/semi-reflective membrane. The geometry of the canopy is a shallow dome with a peak height of 255' feet above the playing field (or 259' AMSL). Lightning protection (ESE) masts extend above the dome 10-20 feet. For FAA review top of ESE masts will be less than 289' AMSL."
