What this outcome means

The FAA sent the case back to the filer rather than issuing a determination. This is the most common non-clean outcome and usually means something has to change or be supplied before the study can finish — not that the project was refused.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"Middle Georgia Regional Airport is having some of their roofs recovered. Existing roofs are being removed. Flute fill ISO and single ply membrane will be added to the existing structure. A 200 foot crane is needed in the parking lot to bring material to the roof of the hanger. This crane will not go further than an existing paved parking lot. There will only be hand held radios used to communicate between the crane operator and the roof top correspondent. The crane a 200 foot boom truck will be taken down at the end of every day. It will not be extended longer than 9 hours on any day."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
