I-95 NB off ramp to US 92
Daytona Beach, FL · near Daytona Beach Intl (1.6 mi)
What this outcome means
The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.
The proposal, in the filer's words
"FDOT has a safety project along the NB I-95 off ramp to US 92. We are correcting superelevation along the ramp. Incidental work to the scope includes replacing the 5 existing conventional light poles along the curve closest to US 92. We are pushing the light poles to be further away from the ramp than they are today and therefore the height of the structures above the nearby runway elevation will be less than it is in its current condition. \nThe Lat/Long Site Elevation and Total Structure Height are based on the pole closest to the airport. \nThe 5 poles range in mounting height and wattage and are as follows:\n(1) 25' pole = 144 W\n(3) 35' pole = 250 W\n(1) 40' pole = 400 W"

Screening a structure of your own?
Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file
LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
