"This project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) systems and Runway End Identifier Lights (REILs) at Plant City Airport (PCM). Work will be performed by Airport Maintenance personnel within the airfield environment and will include the decommissioning removal installation testing and commissioning of the new NAVAID equipment. Construction activities will utilize airport maintenance vehicles including pickup trucks with a maximum operating height of approximately 10 feet AGL. No cranes or other tall construction equipment are anticipated for this work. All activities will take place in accordance with established airfield safety procedures and will be carefully coordinated to minimize impacts to airport operations. Required NOTAMs runway and taxiway closures and communications with airport tenants and FBOs will be issued and coordinated prior to and during construction."
