Miami, FL · near Miami Intl (1.8 mi)

Returned to proponentDetermined - No Hazard20 ft AGL

What this outcome means

The FAA sent the case back to the filer rather than issuing a determination. This is the most common non-clean outcome and usually means something has to change or be supplied before the study can finish — not that the project was refused.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"The scope of this project is to install and replace existing BUL MALSR equipment shelter with the same size (10ft x 16ft) building in the same location. Minor site work will be included to bring grounding and lightning protection up to current FAA standards (see attached site plan with limits of construction area). A crane may be used to place the shelter. The crane will be used one day during construction period. Coordination with ATC will be completed prior to crane activities. In the construction area construction vehicles include crane pickup trucks equipment and material vehicles. The construction area is outside of the RSA and ROFA and activities will not intrude into the RSA and ROFA."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
