What this outcome means

The FAA sent the case back to the filer rather than issuing a determination. This is the most common non-clean outcome and usually means something has to change or be supplied before the study can finish — not that the project was refused.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"The work being performed is the removal of mechanical equipment from the mechanical room located between Concourse C and Concourse D (Mechanical equipment is boilers and pumps) and installation of the new mechanical equipment back into the mechanical room. The mechanical equipment will be removed via a crane with boom height of 65ft and placed on a truck at the locations indicated on the attached drawings. The crane first mobilization will be for the removal of the equipment with start date of 5/4/2026 and being completed roughly 5/22/2026. The crane second mobilization will be for the installation of the new equipment start date of 7/24/2026 and being completed by 8/21/2026."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
