The proposal, in the filer's words

"TGG Investments LLC. and Crafton Tull are proposing to build a residential subdivision comprised of 377 single-family lots north of Smith Field in Siloam Springs Arkansas. The subdivision will be located on parcels 18-14002-000 and 18-13999-000.\nPer the Avigation Easement (Book 548 Page 772) located on the site the easement for approach and transition starts at the end of the runway at an elevation of 1190.49 and extends north at a slope of 34 feet horizontally for every one foot vertically. With an existing ground elevation at the southern boundary of the site along this line being approximately 1187.22' the easement would be approximately 42.94 feet above the ground. \nWith a single story house being no greater than 21 feet in height it is our understanding that this residential subdivision would not be in conflict with the existing Avigation Easement and therefore would not be in conflict with the functionality of Smith Field Airport."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
