Hangar 401 402 and 403 on Taxilane K
Lufkin, TX · near Angelina County (0.5 mi)
What this outcome means
The FAA sent the case back to the filer rather than issuing a determination. This is the most common non-clean outcome and usually means something has to change or be supplied before the study can finish — not that the project was refused.
The proposal, in the filer's words
"WE propose a Hangar called Hangar 401. It is 100' east to west and 80' deep north to south. The eastern edge of the hangar is 465' from the center of Runway 16-34 and 215' from the OFZ line. The Hangar 401 is 24 ASL at 4 corners and 28 ASL at the centerline running south to north. The hangar will be built with a Lul machine that does not extend above the roofline. There will be a 20 foot by 80' deep Office bathroom and parking on the East side of the hangar and it will 10 feet ASL at the highest point."

Screening a structure of your own?
Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file
LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
