Lufkin, TX · near Angelina County (0.6 mi)

Returned to proponentDetermined - No Hazard24 ft AGL

What this outcome means

The FAA sent the case back to the filer rather than issuing a determination. This is the most common non-clean outcome and usually means something has to change or be supplied before the study can finish — not that the project was refused.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"We propose to have a Hangar # 403 which is a 100' east to west front and 80' north to south. It is twenty four feet AGL at the corners and 28 AGL at the centerline which runs North to south. The hangar will be built with a Lull machine so as not to get above the building height during construction. There will be a 20 foot by 80 foot deep office bathroom and parking on the east side of the Hangar with a 10 foot roof. The eastern edge of the Hangar will be 465' from the centerline of Runway 16-34"

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
