Sacramento, CA · near Sacramento Intl (1.5 mi)

Determination of no hazardDetermined - No Hazard9 ft AGL

What this outcome means

The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"Elverta site: A water supply well will be drilled constructed developed and tested as part of a multiple well construction project for the Natomas Mutual Water Company. Stonehouse Drilling and Construction LLC has a drill rig that will perform the work with a mast and drawworks having a maximum stick-up height of 70 feet above ground surface. A separate AWP was submitted for the drill rig. The completed permanent well structure will have a stick-up height of approximately 9 feet. The length of time to complete the work at the Elverta Site will take 3-4 weeks. This is a revised submission based on final location update."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
