Determination of no hazardDetermined - No Hazard199 ft AGL

What this outcome means

The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"Our company will assist with construction at this location using a temporary mobile crane. Our temporary mobile crane tip height will not exceed 199' AGL. We are a subcontractor responsible for erection of the structural steel only. Once we have completed our portion of the work and vacated the site other trades will continue construction. The highest erected elevation of any steel member will be 60' AGL or less (rooftop screen wall). The General Contractor is responsible for any FAA filing requirements for the structure itself. Our mobile crane will operate at multiple locations throughout the job site and will stay within the boundary defined by the submitted coordinates. Please advise regarding any special requirements noting that the Orange County Global Medical Center Heliport is directly SE of the job site."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
