What this outcome means
The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.
The proposal, in the filer's words
"Globalstar Licensee LLC (\Globalstar\") has constructed two new feeder link earth station antennas at its existing Wasilla Alaska gateway facility. Globalstar's new \"Wasilla-4\" and \"Wasilla-5\" earth station antennas are 28-foot antennas manufactured by Viasat with radomes. The Wasilla-4 antenna has an overall height AMSL of 493 feet while the Wasilla-5 antennas has an overall height AMSL of 488 feet. These feeder link antennas are designed to communicate with Globalstar's mobile satellite service (\"MSS\") space stations in the C band at 5091-5250 MHz/6875-7055 MHz. \nPrior to the construction of these new antennas Globalstar had already operated three earth station antennas at this Wasilla gateway site for approximately twenty years. On November 21 2005 Globalstar's predecessor entity Globalstar USA LLC submitted Form 7460-1 to the Federal Aviation Administration (\"FAA\") for these existing Wasilla earth station facilities and the FAA on December 6 2005 issued a \"Determination of No Hazard to Air Navigation\" for these facilities (see Aeronautical Study No. 2005-AAL-330-OE). Out of an abundance of caution in the event the FAA's December 2025 finding does not cover these additional earth station antennas at its Wasilla gateway facility Globalstar is now filing FAA Form 7460-1 for these two new antennas.""

Screening a structure of your own?
Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file
LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
