"To erect a luffing tower crane on site to build a building. A luffing tower crane is needed because of the PURPLELINE of the METRO system as tower cranes cannot swing over train tracks. This results in the tower crane needing to be a luffing crane as it will need to be raised straight to avoid any over hang above the purple line of the train tracks. This will result in the luffing tower crane having a height of 368 feet AGL. The tower section of the tower crane is 171 feet AGL to on a site elevation graded to f 172 ft AMSL. The jib/ luffer of the luffing crane is 197 feet long. In order to make the turn needed to avoid the PURPLE LINE tracks the luffing crane will need to stand to a height of 368 ft AGL or 540 ft AMSL. used to erect a parking garage on site. The tower crane is a POTAIN MD560 top slewing tower crane. This tower crane will not climb. The tower crane will be erected from January 2026 - July 2027. The tower crane will operate Monday thru Friday 7am to 7pm. The tower crane will have flashing synchronized red lights and checked flags."
