What this outcome means

The proposal, in the filer's words
"FATO will consist of a 100 ft. x 100 ft surface. The surface construction will be a deployable high-strength landing pad (made of steel) with EB105A compliant markings. The maximum height of this alteration at any point will be approximately16 inches AGL. The FATO will be marked in accordance with FAA Engineering Brief (EB) 105A and AC 150/5390-2D including a 50 ft. diameter Touchdown and Liftoff (TLOF) area and a Touchdown/Positioning Circle (TDPC). This FATO will be optionally lighted for night operations with FAA-approved lights per EB 105A.\n\nAdjacent to the FATO a temporary taxiway will be constructed to connect the FATO to the existing taxiway for towing the aircraft onto and off the FATO surface. The temporary taxiway will be constructed out of a material called Supa-Trac which is a durable panel flooring system for heavy vehicular traffic used frequently for temporary parking areas. This is being done in coordination with the SFO ADO."
