2026-16 storage tank deicer fluid
Anchorage, AK · near Elmendorf Afb (0.3 mi)
What this outcome means
The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.
The proposal, in the filer's words
"The scope of this project is to construct a storage tank\nfor airfield deicer fluid. The facility will be build as one\nphase of a complete system with pump house and sand\nstorage facility. It will be located outside the airfield\nfence. The project is still in design and the exact\nlocation of the tank will be constructed inside the\ncoordinates given. This case will supersede case 2026 AAl-23-OE that was previously submitted for this effort. The project was mistakenly identified as a temporary structurer. The structure will be permanent. Apologies for the inconvenience."

Screening a structure of your own?
Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file
LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
