New Hudson, MI · near Oakland Southwest (0.5 mi)

Determination of no hazardDetermined - No Hazard40 ft AGL

What this outcome means

The FAA studied the proposal and concluded it would not be a hazard to air navigation. A no-hazard determination is not permanent — it carries an expiration date, and if the structure is not built by then the case has to be re-filed.

The proposal, in the filer's words

"New Hudson Drain cleanout removal of existing culvert and replacement with a new box culvert in same general area. Location D-7 work will be utilizing a 200ft high crane. Other locations along the drain D-1 to D-6 and D-8 to D-12 will be utilizing an excavator mobile machine with a maximum boom height of 40ft above ground to do the proposed cleanout work. Due to the necessary impact to the airport taxiway the airport will be closed for entire duration of this project."

Screening a structure of your own?

Check Part 77 and the tower's line of sight before you file

LOS Analyzer screens a proposed structure against FAA Part 77 surfaces and the control tower's sightline to the runway, terrain-aware, in minutes. It is a preliminary screening — not an FAA determination and not a substitute for a licensed engineering review.
